Iโve lived a cowardly life unconsciously. And I choose to not live so any more.
Though the range varies. Having this core belief that change is the only constant helps.
Because then you have the choice to move in any direction you want.
I recorded a 6 min video with random insight + app plug.
Took it to editor to cut out clips where Iโm silent + using fillers (umm, and, like).
Guess how many mins it came down to?
2:53. Not bad but while editing, I felt cringe and annoyed to really cut out any part. Because why canโt I just speak continuously without taking breaks or using fillers.
Itโs that Iโm conscious of my before, during, and after so much that I cannot yet fully focus my mana onto what I envision.
Itโs still halfass and I want to continue growing.
PS: not to become Alexander the Great, but whoever this veen is supposed to be.
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.
@Verdana86 I remember the why instead of relying on Claude to remember it for me. The why is your mission statement. Why you get up from your bed to achieve what.
Claude built my whole app in days, then forgot why it existed.
Spoiler: it really did
If you ask Claude to make everything for you, atleast preserve what you wanted to build in the first place, instead of getting talked over by ai and changing your wordings on features.
Claude can code, but the mission comes from soul. And people buy your product for your mission. Because mission has soul. Features are just to make it all real for the soul.
What do I mean by this?โจI wanted to build an app that builds a writing habit. Daily. (shameless plug starts here) It's called Inkstreak. Private, secure, not flooded by ads or ai, and easily reachable. What better than an app I thought. Conceptualised with my goal and brought to life using ai.
It's right now in review, coming soon on App Store (shameless plug ends here). And I can't believe it. But it's true. I do want to build a habit of writing because I'm done reading ai slop, getting flooded by ai created videos. No life in them.
By all means I'm not a hater of ai. Ai really got me going, faster than ever. But it does not have the value I have. Or any human has. Because existentially it's just an ai. Made by humans.
And everyone agrees that ai written content is not really good.
You want to see those mistakes, and punctuation errors. (yes, I left my typos in. That's the point.)
Anyway, so I asked Claude opus 5.5 to build it for me and it did a really good job. Built me a website, an app, even gave me a launch plan. The campaign is "Write 50k words in 30 days". That's ~1600 words daily. Yes. Daily.
Asked me to make videos with different hooks explaining different features of the app. But while building the whole thing, it forgot the real mission which goes as mission statements everywhere on website, title, etc.
That it's an app that helps you build a real habit. A writing habit.
But how did Claude choose to sell it?โจBy calling it a "Word counter" ๐๐
Next few days are going to be crazy. Follow along, I'm building this in public.
Fiddling with the launch plan for the app I'm about to launch. Apple is still reviewing the app, and while that happens I need to record videos, edit them and be ready.
As soon as app is approved, I need to post about it on launch sites (apparently 13 of them claude suggested). Some even have wait queues lol.
It's interesting the app world. Most of the control is in your hands, you don't need to pay for shipping or the product itself everytime a customer buys like in physical products.
I've been on the wrong side of the boat for a very long time, and I now regret wasting all that time. But that's not alot cuz i got to learn too. So cudos to whoever is creating and selling physical products! not my cup of tea though. i was naive and took wrong bets.
So here i am starting something new again, and this time failure is not frightened, it's welcomed. Because here I have the control. I don't rely on numerous third parties, and logistics. I push to market, get feedback, do something about it that doesn't cost me anything but time and tokens, and push back to market. Iteration is possible here on great lengths.
The physical world is still not magical enough like what AI did to the internet.
@federicodonaton Is this ai? If yes I hate ai comments. If no, bro get up your reply game. Saying what I already said is like telling me what I already said.
@TheXSami Claude positioned it based on the features built but actually this will help with building a habit to write everyday. Write anything, because thatโll be human. In the world of ai, we need more original human content.
