Funny how audience perception works! 🎬
#vishwanathandsons : Hero dates multiple women = Pure Comedy 🤣
Toxic: Hero does the exact same thing = Vulgar 😡
The double standard is real. The only difference is #Toxic takes a raw, realistic approach, just like its name suggests. 🤷♂️🍿
WTF you want story when the movie is trying to talk about dark emotions, childhood trauma, wrong and right choices in life. Not to overcome your trauma through bad habits or drugs which will make it worse.
Not everything has been told as a story🤫

Yash is realizing that Indians didn’t deserve Something fresh Why did he take such a huge risk with Toxic Why did he put his image on the line and spend 4.5 years on it when he could have easily done KGF 3
He took the risk for Indians but in return all he got was betrayal
Still in the trance of #Toxicthemovie climax after coming out of the theatre. Many things in mind and look more agead of time. There were many hard hitting dialogues that were so funking true. SM is full of toxicity after watching #Toxic
#Toxic has been watched... Here are my quick thoughts...
Well, I quite liked the film. First things first, pretty impressed with the bravado of @TheNameIsYash to choose to do this kind of a film after KGF, and the ambition of @GeetuMohandas for imagining such a film with the guy who did KGF...
Make no mistake, the film is flawed and has its fair share of issues. But I was quite happy to see Geetu and Yash delve into disturbing spaces to showcase the depravity of a guy who deserves nothing but living hell, and doesn't shy away from embracing the tagline "A fairy tale for Grown ups." The action sequences are wonderfully choreographed and there are quite a few of them. A lot of effort has gone into ensuring each of them has something different to offer to the audience rather than just severed limbs spouting blood and bullets being sprayed through people.
With a first half that boasts of four strong women who are swayed around by the machinations of Yash's Raya, and to also see him be swayed by the same four women later was a fascinating ride.
Again, it is far from being perfect, but somehow, I quite enjoyed how the film explores the mind of a monster, and dealt with the concept of debilitating guilt. I also liked how everything that Raya does is because he is consumed by guilt of some form, and the only relationship in his life that is not born out of guilt is the one that hurts him the most, and is the one that gives him a reason to love.
Geetu's writing, unfortunately, hands Rukmini Vasanth a raw deal, but I loved how #Nayanthara, #TaraSutaria, @humasqureshi and of course, @advani_kiara are written into this "alpha" world. They might seem mere puppets, but they Choose their place in Raya's life. In fact, he has no say in when they enter his life, and when they leave... It is all on their own terms, and it is yet another neat writing touch to probably say that Raya thinks it is all him, but without them, he is nothing but a gun for hire.
That's why when these four are not part of the narrative, the film takes a nosedive for long periods of time. But when it finally gets to the last act, Toxic becomes the fairy tale that Geetu actually set out to make.
There are quite a few logical loopholes in the film, and the film exists in an alternate universe, for sure. But that's the thing with fairy tales, even if it's for Grown ups... Anything can happen anytime, and you either buy it or you don't.
There were portions that I bought and ones that I didn't, but just that, I was drawn into the world of this very bad guy who does really bad things, and for a change, really really bad things happen to him as well. And I thought that was as good as a moral for a Toxic fairytale.

#Toxicthemovie is being toxic, thats why everyone doesn't like it. I think director wants to tell the conflict between relationships and cofnlict with raya himself. Hence, there is less importance to other characters. But it was a good watch and felt ahead of its time.
After completing my diploma in mechanical engineering in 2015, I wrote the state CET exam for engineering, and I got a rank of around 2000 and my close friend from the reserved category got a rank of around 6000. When we were planning the best colleges to join, he said….
From an opponent to a friend over the years. It’s been a pleasure watching you bat and compete against you over so many years but more than that I value our friendship and shared perspectives on the game and beyond. I continue to cherish every time we speak or meet. Wishing you nothing but the best always brother. You’ve done your bit, you deserve to enjoy all of it now and put your feet up. Well done mate, life’s only just begun. ❤️ #KaneWilliamson
