Imitation crab has no crab in it. It's pollock.

The fish gets ground into a paste with starch and sugar, pushed through a mold into shapes, and painted red on one side. The crab flavor is added. Some brands throw in a little crab extract so the word can show up on the label.

Most California rolls are made with this. If the menu doesn't say real crab, it isn't.

Their mother strangled them in the basement on January 24, 2023. A jury just spent a week and still couldn’t decide if she should be held responsible. The judge is declaring a mistrial.

Three little kids. One photo. No verdict.

Don’t let their names disappear behind “postpartum” headlines and legal technicalities. They were real.
They had whole lives ahead of them that no one will ever get to see.

I keep seeing this video from @howertonjosh on my feed, and the more I think about it, the more powerful the message becomes:

When God wanted to make David a king, he didn’t give him a crown, but he gave him a Goliath.

When God wanted to raise Joseph from the palace, he didn’t gave him a shortcut. He gave him prison.

When God wanted to make Esther queen, he didn’t give her comfort he gave her crisis.

When God wanted to make Moses a leader he didn’t gave him a stage. He gave him a wilderness.

A lot of time when you think that God is breaking you, he’s actually building you. He doesn’t give you what you expect in life, but he gives you what you need to become everything that he needs you to be to become the full fit that he has for you.

Nobody talks about how hard it is to fully surrender to God... when you've spent your entire life believing you could only depend on yourself.

When you've been let down enough times...
You stop asking for help.
You stop expecting people to stay.
You learn to survive by carrying everything alone.
So when God says,
"Trust Me."
It sounds beautiful..
But it also teels territying.

Because surrender isn't just laying your problems at His feet.
It's unlearning a lifetime of self-protection.
It's believing that this time, when you let go...
You won't be dropped.

Maybe that's why God is so patient with us.
He knows He's not just healing our circumstances.
He's healing the part of us that believes we have to carry the weight of the world alone.

If trusting God feels harder than it seems for everyone else...
You're not a bad Christian.
You're a person who's been hurt.
And healing doesn't happen the moment you say, "I trust You."

It happens every time you choose to trust Him again after fear tells you not to.
One prayer.
One surrender.
One step at a time.

Because one day you'll realize...
The safest place you ever could have fallen was into the hands of the One who never planned to let you go.

As I had my morning lemon water , I realized that everything is about to change. No matter how I vote, no matter what I say, something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same. Jesus is warning us.

I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life--so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own. I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone.

You can't justify this insanity. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind!

• Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.

• Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.

• Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcome.

• $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not.

• If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free.

• People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.

• We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan to us.

• Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.

• Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it's a violation of THEIR rights.

• And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us "racists"?!

Nothing makes sense anymore, no values, no morals, no civility and people are dying of a man made virus, but it racist to refer to it as evil even though it began in our own Government!

We are clearly living in an upside down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong, but killing innocent babies is right.
