3) pronounce Z’s. She turns them into S’s. This might account for what is happening, since the influence of Spanish is much greater than it used to be. And yes, one house is pronounced with an ‘S’ sound. More than one, with a ‘Z’ sound.

2) howzed, & ‘howzing.’ It never used to be an issue, but lately, I’ve noticed more people pronouncing these words like you did, with an ‘S’ sound. Spanish speakers seem to have a problem with the Z sound, even though many of their names contain z’s. You may notice Ana doesn’t
