Tomorrow, the Government is expected to receive 27 recommendations on tackling antisemitism in schools and colleges.
Among the reported proposals:
• Schools to reconsider political symbols, including Palestinian watermelon badges.
• New guidance on teaching the Israel–Palestine conflict, emphasising political impartiality.
• Greater scrutiny of how teachers discuss geopolitical issues.
• Encouraging schools to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism, including its controversial examples relating to Israel.
Let me be absolutely clear...
Antisemitism must be challenged wherever it exists. Jewish children deserve to feel safe in every school.
But this is not about antisemitism.
IT IS ABOUT BRAINWASHING OUR CHILDREN TO COVER UP OUR GOVERNMENT'S COMPLICITY IN WAR CRIMES.
What the hell are we doing when expressing solidarity with Palestinians becomes something schools are encouraged to challenge?
When teachers are expected to demonstrate political impartiality, who decides what constitutes impartiality?
And since when should the documented genocide and displacement of Palestinians be treated as simply another political opinion?
Human rights ARE NOT a partisan position.
International law IS NOT a matter of political preference.
The slaughtering of civilians IS NOT something we should teach children to be indifferent about.
Education is being hijacked for political conditioning rather than encouraging children to think critically.
If we reach a point where children are discouraged from showing solidarity with victims of oppression, where teachers fear telling the truth about atrocities, and where political impartiality becomes a euphemism for silence, then we have crossed a truly terrifying, line.
Education should teach children to recognise injustice, question authority and stand up for humanity, not to condition them to look the other way when those in power are responsible.
And if our Government is more concerned about children wearing Palestinian badges than the suffering those badges represent, then we need to ask ourselves a very serious question:
Are we educating the next generation to prevent the atrocities of history from happening again, or teaching them how to accept them when they do?

Elderly in the Highlands fearful of putting the heating on whilst England basks at over 20c. Yet the grid is humming in the Highlands and they're literally turning off the hydro schemes and wind turbines.
Time for regional pricing now!
Three out of four of the nations in a ‘voluntary union’ want to ask their citizens if they want to leave. And are being told by the fourth they can’t. No matter your opinion on independence you surely have to recognise the absurdity of this.
Flight of the Conchords (2007–2009) has a joke density most comedies can’t touch. Every awkward conversation turns into a perfectly observed character beat, then suddenly becomes a song that somehow makes the whole situation even funnier.
I’d rather have a country full of people like this gentleman.
Than thick uneducated 🛎️ ends like these 2 interrogating him.
Stayed calm and composed and let them expose themselves. Well played fella 👏👏
SNEAKO: Your government's committing a genocide.
🇮🇱ISRAELI JEW: That's what you have been told.
SNEAKO: Okay, then the six million, why do we have to believe that, if you're gonna deny this one then people should be able to deny this your Holocaust.
The punk-rap duo Bob Vylan is suing the BBC after the broadcaster said the band’s “utterly unacceptable” Glastonbury performance last year contained “antisemitic sentiments”.
Frontman Pascal Robinson-Foster and drummer Wade Laurence George filed separate legal proceedings against the BBC at the high court in Ireland on Tuesday. They also launched defamation proceedings against Irish broadcaster RTÉ in December after it published a news report labelling the chants at Glastonbury to be antisemitic.
“In the immediate aftermath of our performance at Glastonbury 2025, the BBC wasted no time in placing labels upon us that did not, do not and never will fit,” the bandmembers wrote on Instagram under their individual stage names Bobby Vylan and Bobbie Vylan.
The controversy arose after the band led the chant “Death, death to the IDF” at Glastonbury last year, referring to the Israel Defense Forces, which is committing genocide in Gaza.
The BBC broadcasted the chant live on air but later said doing so was a mistake. It then removed the recording from iPlayer and accused Bob Vylan of peddling “antisemitic sentiments”.
In response, Bob Vylan said: “We are not for the death of Jews, Arabs or any other race or group of people. We are for the dismantling of a violent military machine.”
On Friday, the band wrote on Instagram: “The BBC have attempted to silence those that oppose the heinous crimes taking place in Palestine, instead labelling them as antisemitic, editing their speeches [and] removing their content.”
They added: “These responses are unacceptable. So seeing the opportunity to remind them [of] the power of the people that they are attempting to silence, we had no choice but to take on this fight.”
Following Glastonbury 2025, police investigations into Bob Vylan and fellow anti-Zionist band Kneecap were launched and later dropped.
