NYC Teachers are prepared to go remote ALWAYS. We are literally told to do th
@NYCMayor Terrible decision to open schools in person tomorrow. The safety of our children, families & @NYCSchools staff must be the top priority.
Principals were paid to distribute devices, don’t let that investment go to waste, especially with a city deficit.
@NYCSchools@DOEChancellor I’m sorry but our safety as staff is not being considered- the mayor said to stay off the roads but you expect all students and staff to be in school. The call should have been remote- our safety is at risk
@kasssxo Nobody is mad about going to work. We’re enraged that student and faculty lives will be put at risk while traveling, when we would have more attendance if it was simply remote. It’s also unfair that teachers should be forced to use a day should they not be able to commute.
@NYCMayor No trash collection, but you’ll send vulnerable school kids and teachers out into this mess tomorrow? The weather is literally too treacherous for sanitation trucks but fine for D75 students on an old school bus? Wow.
