🚀 Velas 2.0 Subchain Devnet/Testnet Tech Update 🚀

1️⃣ ERC20 Upgrade: The contract at 0x0000…000 now supports mint/burn natively—ownable, gas token-compatible, and WETH-free! Composable like Optimism’s precompiles.

2️⃣ Geth Compatibility: Genesis config updated for seamless nonce parsing in Geth.

3️⃣ Large Genesis Configs: Precompiled contract support added, enabling massive subchains with large initial states.

4️⃣ EVM Archive Fix: Improved temp ref resets for better archive reliability.

5️⃣ EVM Minting Tests: Rigorous new tests ensure robust minting functionality.

6️⃣ Tooling Boost: Improved cast-cli, added full support for Foundry, Remix, & Hardhat.

7️⃣ Minter Bug Fix: Address validation issue resolved—minting now seamless across subchains.

#Velas Update:

1. Last week, in collaboration with @AccumulatedFi, we allocated 1 million $VLX tokens, which will be distributed among $stVLX stakers.

2. Two weeks ago, we released a devnet update introducing key enhancements:

Support for hosting subchains with an updated configuration (semi-compatible with geth init).

Improved program instructions for subchain management.

A dynamic mint/burn token mechanism within subchains, enabled through a specialized system contract.

3. Next week, we plan to release another devnet update, which will:

Enable the exploration of internal transactions within the blockchain explorer.

Refine and polish the documentation (already available at Velas Docs).
