Some VTubers clearly don’t get the value of money.
She paid $27k for a model and then didn’t even set up the tracking properly.

It takes five minutes to watch a tutorial and adjust the parameters. People calling it a bad rig have no idea how Live2D works.

Spending $27k just to be a model sibling with popular VTubers is like buying an expensive car because some actor has one. You don’t need a top-tier model to be a VTuber especially if you don’t even know the basics.

I made my own model myself in a cave with a box of scraps. If I had $27k to spend, I’d put it toward a good editor for my YouTube channel and a solid clipper to promote content.

She can do whatever she wants with her money, but this is a clear example of overspending in VTubing for no real reason. Later, people ask me if you need crazy amounts of money to start VTubing.
