Today we held the presentation conference of the National Survey of Political Education.🔍🇦🇱
This activity brought together experts and young people in different panels to discuss the need to promote political education from different perspectives. 🗣️
In the first panel, on the role of government organizations and NGOs in the Promotion of Political Education we had Mr. John Fluharty from the International Republican Institute, Mrs. Elena Gjergji from the National Democratic Institute and Mr. Kristi Çina from the UN Albania. 🇺🇳
The writing presents her experience in the main political institutions in Washington, as well as gives an overview of the institutional experience and the approach of representation in the framework of political education.
Today we partecipated at the Youth Fair "<3️⃣0️⃣", where we presented our mission of political education to the young participants, while many of them filled our initiative “National Survey on Political Education”.✍️

which is the main mission of Veliera. In the discussion panel that followed, Marsela was invited, a member of our board and at the same time the Youth Delegate of Albania to the UN, who spoke about the challenges of education.
🇬🇧 1/2 "Youth Speak Forum" by AISEC was held yesterday, as a youth space to exchange ideas and experiences focused on SDG4 and SDG8. The Executive Director of Veliera, Diogjen, held a session where he spoke about the need to promote political education among young Albanians

We kicked off in Tirana’s high schools and soon we will be in other cities 🇦🇱
Ana, Diogjen and Marsela represented Veliera in the bootcamp organized by UNDP & UNFPA Albania, and were one of the winners 🎉
Our passion for political education led to a very unique idea for encouraging young people to vote, which will be supported by the organizers.
We started our tour of meeting collaborators with Bora Muzhaqi, Minister of State for Youth and Children. The narrow focus of our organization enabled us to discuss at length about political education and media literacy, which are very well integrated in the 🇦🇱 Youth Strategy 29.
This initiative was welcomed by Mr. Kristaq Kume, former Chairman of the CEC and Mr. Ledio Braho, member of KAS at the CEC, while it was strongly supported by the journalist Fatos Mahmutaj who lives in Belgium, one of the countries that implements these measures.
Yesterday, @diogjeni was invited to the Albania Live show on Top-Channel, to talk about the National Survey on Political Education. This poll, which will be held soon, contains a question that has sparked debate: Should we have compulsory voting in Albania?
Jan 24 was proclaimed by the UNGA as the International Day of Education, aiming to acknowledge the positive impact of education on society, to steer digital education and to support teachers and every person who contributes that knowledge passes the generational gap.
We are very proud that our colleague @delijamarsela, member of the institute's board, was selected as one of the Albanian Youth Delegates to UN. In this role, among other tasks, Marsela will have the responsibility to convey the voice of Albanian youth in the UN General Assembly.
🇬🇧| On Wednesday we will be at the American Corner in Kukës, where together with the US Embassy Youth Council we will discuss and conduct a training session about political education. This new concept is about informing and bringing youth and institutions closer.
