Since it's less than a month to #Cyberpunk2077 I thought I'd share my 2077 repaint of an old #XBox360 though this #xbox will never run the @CyberpunkGame of course.
@ianhamilton_@stevesaylor@bethesda With 10x the viewing distance for console users, they have very different needs. Vision impaired users should be able to toggle extra large or high contrast fonts on both platforms. "Big" just screws over some people to make others experience better. "Adjustable" helps everyone.
@ianhamilton_@stevesaylor@bethesda Remember that a large number of people will be playing this on PC, where viewing distance makes 8pt+ fonts perfectly acceptable for most users, and 28pt obnoxiously large. UI elements NEED to be user scalable though to cover PC/Console use cases, plus user vision needs.
So #OGL1.2 is really a reorganized #OGL1.1 just with the BS harder to spot. Moving the "We can (as sole arbitors) revoke at any time for any reason or none" into a "morality" section doesn't prevent its abuse or make it moral. This is not #OpenDnD and @Wizards_DnD knows it.
Another thing @Wizards_DnD doesn't seem to understand is what market they are actually in: They create resources for content creators. The 3rd party publishers act as middleware creators, and the DM is the final content creator. #DnD must license appropriately for that. #OGL did.
What @Wizards_Dnd doesn't seem to understand is the #ogl was a promise, and breaking that promise is a point they seem unwilling to compromise on. Why trust anything they're saying while at the same time they break their word? #OpenDnD needs more than a handful of pages under CC4
We have announced a plan for a system neutral open RPG license in collaboration with other game companies. We believe it will irrevocably and unquestionably keep alive the spirit of the Open Game License. Learn more:

@rrruthieh Have to say Mastodon is looking very promising. Very Twitter feel. Art focused instances like https://t.co/qK7CUp9KaB and https://t.co/bHgO2f2WBI are already great communities, and growing very fast.
i spent 2 hours curating a twitter blue screenshot storyline for my parents so here u go, for your own offline friends that want to have fun:
DAY 1 – ARRIVAL
we criticize hollywood for lazy tropes but our two main antagonists right now is a former kgb agent with a penchant for poisoning and an emerald mine heir who wants to live on mars. if these were bond villains they’d be dismissed as caricature
@alyssavisscher Couldn't agree more. Great points well made. Oddly, I think one of my best sessions was when the DM was a no-show and I said "What the heck, everyone roll up random characters and I'll DM something!" But that's a very different type of session. Usu. need lots of prep 2 be good.
@helloitskolo @Dizzillee @AllOtakuOnline Do you usually get damp or dry heat over there? If dry, a swamp cooler could be inexpensive and effective, but they perform poorly in damp heat. They use evaporation to cool the air, so don't need a window at all. Really just a fan, a tray of water, and a bunch of wicking panels.
@Opgenorthk@XboxSupport My guess is they're using a definition not useful to the general public. They might define "major" as the data center or servers not responding at all, with "limited" being the servers returning error or bad responses. Useful for the person troubleshooting, perhaps, but not us.
@XboxSupport Anyone know what would have to go wrong to be considered a Major Outage? Customers can’t buy new products. Can’t access games they payed you to access. Your console is basically inoperable for many - limited informs me of your lack of urgency to resolve this issue.
OK, as much as this #XBox#Outage sucks, I just want to send my appreciation and commiseration to the techs that just lost their whole weekend to fixing it. #XboxDown
@ReginaldShoe42 Ha, know the feel. They went down yesterday after I spent 30min reconfiguring my router to get to NAT Type Open, and had a momentary panic that my new config had blocked access instead.
@hernan_algut4@MonkeyKingZobe Not really. I can disconnect my #PC from the Internet for a year, and most games will still work fine. Anything from #GOG is #DRM free & if I backup the installers, I'll be able to reinstall in 20 years with no internet and then play, no problem. Not so for PS5 & Xbox Series.
While I question the usefulness of #DRM in general, the implementation on #Xbox is just bad. A server outage shouldn't disable installed games, especially not immediately. Do better @Xbox@XboxSupport@XboxP3
