My network tells me of a cyclist struck and injured by a driver in #hamont SW. Less than a half dozen blocks from my home, where hundreds of kids stream daily to and from no less than four nearby school on foot, scooters, bikes and more. All I can do is pray they are all right.

Watching the #HamOnt Public Works meeting and it is great that pedestrian and cyclist injuries are down but the question I have to ask is: Are people walking and riding bikes as much or more or has there been a downward trend because people perceive the streets as unsafe?
