Google has the worst brand and marketing team. Their product names and logos are the worst. Not only are they confusing, but also cannibalizing and blobs of color which AI must have generated.

Anything but user centric they are.

@claudeai desktop app needs tabs! How are you all managing without them?

After launching iPads with M chips but no MacOS (and not good multi-tasking) @Apple now launches Macbooks with A chips and no touchscreens.

Seems like they're trying to fill in all combinations but looking past the obvious ones.

Whenever I try @wwwsublimeapp I feel it can be so useful but then I give up on it because they still don't have an @Android app. iOS only is no bueno.

I also think it will be good if I could post from third part apps.
Browser extensions are the only off-site means right now

While I am no fan of MacOS and Apple silicon being so good it is Microsoft that is pushing me towards Apple tbh rather than AMD/Intel or the laptop manufacturers.

Probably will start using Linux much much more.

It is 2026 and Microsoft Windows still can't do Search (start + search or Win+S) properly.
1. Some times it just buffers to not show anything
2. Some other times it lags and you hit enter on the wrong one.
3. Overall it is slow and only mostly works on items you use always.

Not surprising because windows - which was ok to live with for so long - is now slowly completely enshittified like Edge became a couple of years ago.

We still have two UIs for settings menus. This began in Windows Vista/7 and they still havent a unified theme.
