PEPFAR is one of the most successful global health programs ever.
It provides HIV treatment for over 20 million people.
And now it faces a funding delay of up to 6 months.
Without access to treatment, HIV can rebound in less than a month.
This is self-defeating stupidity.
No player better embodies the Thunder's surpassing of expectations this season more than Chet Holmgren

It’s sad that there is a perfect form of protest that addresses everything the right way and solves the problems being protested and is serious without being threatening and peaceful without being frivolous, but no one is allowed to know what it is :(
As I sit and deep Cornell’s administration’s decision to temporarily suspend 4 of us, I can’t help but reflect on the callousness of it all. Depriving students of housing, food and placing them in vulnerable positions due to their visa status because of their engagement in peaceful protest of a genocide is beyond wicked.
The level of force being used against students is insane, and it is a testament of how far these institutions are willing to go to protect capitalist interests. Safety of their students and faculty is not their concern or priority.
Something not clear in this already incredible self-own of a chart is that "Target" isn't even "the goal we need to hit to prevent climate catastrophe." Target is just "What Biden pledged to hit back in 2021." It's less aggressive than what the EU or the UK say they're targeting.
"I asked a close colleague in the US who works in this area what would be the most comparable war situation. “Rwanda?” I asked. He responded that there was no previous conflict “ that used bombing, snipers, starvation all at once with such intensity.”"
Absolutely heartshattering.
May the memory of 25 year old Aaron Bushnell be a blessing. May his sacrifice be a call to action for those with the ability to do something and a haunting reminder for those who refuse to change course.
