Day 8
After a short hike we arrived at an important fork in the road: do we follow along the path of the friends we have made along the way and follow the Hospitales route or do we choose instead to weave our own path through the mountains?

Day 6
We continue our adventure high up in the mountains, in the cold embrace of an other-wordly fog. Along our way we witnessed the touching moment of two horses comforting eachother. Rain droplets accompanied our walk and gently covered the natural world.

Day 5
We broke a (personal) record today: we walked the fewest number of kilometres out of all of our adventures!
The reason? - we wanted to stop and experience the truly magical town

Day 4
A quick hike surrounded by rich colours, simply a prelude to the tightly-knit community of Salas. This town, a centre of cultural and historic significance , was the perfect place to make beautiful memories

Day 2
We left very early in the morning before the sun had risen, giving us a head start in the day. A sea of shadows covered the road, but we pushed through the darkness and eventually arrived at the crown jewel of the day: a lush landscape with a great river flowing through it.

Day 1
The first day was a memorable one! A thick and mystical fog covered the hills we were walking on. This enigmatic scenery was completed by a gentle horses gaze and some soft flowers.

Day 0 - part 2

Day 6
This day started with a beautiful landscape full of flowers and a stunning sunrise. But after a few kilometers we realised what cruel weather we have to endure. After many, MANY stops in the shade we finally arrived at our destination

Day 5
Today was a terribly exhausting road, with a scorching hot sun and lots of kilometers. Thankfully we still had some energy to walk around and capture the uniqueness of the town, with wonderful murals and beautiful people.

Day 4
We start our journey with high spirits and with plenty of energy. The nice view entertained us while we walked, and even inspired me to make a few photos!

We arrive in the heart of Portugal, a big city with intricate streets, where you can sometimes feel lost. The pictures portray the modern and fast moving Lisbon, but also the delicate side of the town that hides in quiet cafés.

Before going to Portugal we are making a stop in Beauvais , a city with stunning architecture and a relaxing atmosphere.
