కొద్ది రోజుల క్రితం హనుమకొండలో నిరంజన్ ఇంటికి వెళ్లి కలిసిన ఆ క్షణాలు ఇంకా నా మదిలో సజీవంగానే ఉన్నాయి. తీవ్రమైన అనారోగ్యంతో పోరాడుతూనే నా కోసం ఎదురుచూసిన ఆ చిన్నారి… నన్ను చూడగానే అతని ముఖంపై విరిసిన ఆ చిరునవ్వు… ఇవన్నీ ఎ��్పటికీ మరువలేని జ్ఞాపకాలుగా నిలిచిపోతాయి.

అతని శరీరం వ్యాధితో పోరాడినా, అతని మనసు మాత్రం అపారమైన ధైర్యంతో నిలిచింది. అంతటి బాధను అనుభవిస్తూ కూడా జీవితం పట్ల అతను చూపిన ఆశ, ఆత్మవిశ్వాసం ఎంతో విలువైనవి. అలాంటి ధైర్యవంతుడైన చిన్నారి ఇంత త్వరగా మనల్ని విడిచి వెళ్లిపోవడం ఎంతో బాధాకరం.

నిరంజన్ కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు నా ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతిని తెలియజేస్తున్నాను. తీరని దుఃఖాన్ని భరించే శక్తిని భగవంతుడు వారికి ప్రసాదించాలని ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాను.

ప్రియమైన నిరంజన్… నువ్వు చూపించిన చిరునవ్వు, ధైర్యం, నువ్వు పంచిన ప్రేమ నా హృదయంలో ఎప్పటికీ నిలిచిపోతాయి. నీ ఆత్మకు శాంతి చేకూరాలని భగవంతుడిని ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాను.

TRIVIA : Veteran filmmaker K. Bhagyaraj wrote the Tamil dialogues for the Tamil-dubbed version of Magadheera, which was released in Tamil as Maaveeran.

During discussions about who should adapt the dialogues for the Tamil version of the film directed by S. S. Rajamouli, several names were suggested.

It was Chiranjeevi who reportedly recommended Bhagyaraj for the job.

Although Bhagyaraj had never written dialogues for a dubbed film before, he agreed to do so because Chiranjeevi personally requested him to take up the assignment.

Her name is Ambika.

She grew up in a village in Tamil Nadu.

She was married when she was only fourteen years old to a man who worked as a police constable.

By the age of eighteen, she was the mother of two daughters, and her own education had ended long before.

One day, she accompanied her husband to a Republic Day parade.

She watched him salute a row of senior officers and asked him who they were.

He told her they were IPS officers, and that reaching that rank required clearing the Civil Services Examination, one of the toughest exams in the country.

That moment changed her life.

She told her husband that one day she wanted to become one of those officers.

The dream seemed impossible.

She had not even completed school.

So she began again from the beginning.

She finished Class 10, then Class 12, and later earned a college degree.

She moved to Chennai to prepare for the Civil Services Examination, while her husband stayed behind and looked after their two daughters.

Success did not come quickly.

She failed once.

Then she failed again.

Then a third time.

Her husband gently suggested that she return home.

She asked him for one last chance.

In 2008, on her fourth attempt, Ambika cleared the Civil Services Examination and became an IPS officer.

The girl who had been married at fourteen grew up to wear the same uniform her husband had once stood and saluted.
