A little while ago I proposed someone acquire 50k of @Deadfellaz and in exchange our internal studio would produce the art for a high quality 10k project. This is that project. An alignment of mutual interest - our community supported in exchange for our services.
An entirely new way of collaborating towards a common goal, an experiment of sorts - but one that is centred around actual product. What @panelhausapp is bringing to web3 will allow brands here to decentralise brand proliferation through easy and instant content creation.
So much to talk about. For now, read this article, and get ready for Smudgies.
Someone bought a Deadfren for 0.1 eth.
Deadfellaz @Deadfellaz is coming back like a storm.
There's rare ones listed for under 0.1 eth on Deadfren, you need to look at actual Rarity trait not Opensea's calculation because some traits are more important.

Ever since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to have the NFT project I founded be featured in a dank, futuristic, post apocalyptic depiction of Michael Saylor buying the last bitcoin, as a floating head within an interpretation of TMNT’s Krang as Satoshi, surrounded by rats and decay - by the internationally renowned digital artist that helped bring worldwide attention to the technology I have now dedicated my life to, @beeple
Death Touch, the @Deadfellaz TCG is live and playable now in open alpha. You do not need a Deadfellaz to play, and it is web & mobile optimized.
We are taking a web3 ‘kickstarter’ approach to the final leg in our dev cycle. 3 seasons, 3 months, 500 passes a season. Perks unlock at each goal reached. Season 1 we have already unlocked our first goal. I want to unlock all of them asap.
To support the development of the game, be airdropped exclusive rare cards through the next 3 months, and be one of my favourite people in the world, go mint our Season 1 pass(es) for 0.01eth here:

Vaults, and any issued cards will break and go on chain and playable in game at the conclusion of the third season. All info on the website! 🫡💖
Beeple dropped Saylor as Krang buying the last Bitcoin in 2140, screen reading `0.00000000 BTC` remaining.
Then the hunt started.
Communities found themselves hidden inside the piece. @Deadfellaz spotted. Betty had manifested this exact scenario 11 days earlier!
Floor up +23.5% in 24h.
Grails is getting bought.
Top mover on OpenSea!
A Beeple easter egg is not just clout.
It moves markets 😎
Guys if you’re gonna do something cool like sweep or buy from a big company and tweet about it I love you so much but I’m in Australia you gotta wait til I’m awake so I can be responsive 😂💖💖💖 ANYWAY, Welcome to the Horde @opensea happy to have you, honoured to receive the recognition, and a pleasure to be amongst such great projects in your flagship collection.
Thank you! What a great way to wake up!
Basically every major gaming fund said no to Death Touch. So we made it anyway with what we have and it’s amazing. Dare I say will be the best TCG to come out of a web3 IP.
Go play it now https://t.co/V5nN9g9q8C
Deadfellaz launched on August 13, 2021 — Friday the 13th — created by anonymous founders Betty (@betty_nft) and Psych (@psych_nft), a creative duo behind parent studio DFZ Labs.
Psych led the art, and Betty led the brand, community, and operations. The collection of 10,000 undead PFPs minted at 0.025 ETH and sold out on the same day. Betty has spoken publicly about building Deadfellaz to fill a gap she saw in early NFT culture — a project that didn't conform to the male-dominated aesthetics of the time. The result was a cast of inclusive, genderless zombies and a community known as The Horde.
Psych's art draws on horror, punk, anime, and underground pop culture, rendering each Deadfella a green-skinned antihero living on the fringes of a corporate dystopia. Every character is randomly generated across six trait categories — Eyes, Nose, Mouth, Head, Body, and Background — and every trait carries one of three grades: Fresh, Damaged, or Rotten.
Fresh is the most common grade, Damaged is rarer, and Rotten is the rarest, with full Rotten combinations among the most sought-after pieces in the collection. The Horde has organized around this grade system for years, treating it as a shared visual language rather than a number on a rarity chart.
Under DFZ Labs, Deadfellaz became one of the earliest NFT-native brands to break through into mainstream pop culture. The project partnered with Steve Aoki's Dim Mak in 2022 for a fashion capsule featuring skate decks, hoodies, and jackets, and joined forces with DraftKings and the NFLPA that same year to release officially licensed zombified NFTs of NFL players for use in Reignmakers fantasy football.
Additional collaborations have included Wrangler on NFC-chipped vintage denim and Giuseppe Zanotti on metaverse footwear. Betty has been named to NFT Now's NFT100 list of the most influential people in NFTs in both 2022 and 2023.
The Deadfellaz universe has expanded well beyond a single PFP collection. Deadfrenz, a companion project of 13,000 animal-themed NFTs introduced in early 2022, brought the same grade system into a new visual world.
Death Touch, the team's digital trading card game built in partnership with SKALE Labs, is currently in playable alpha on Steam — a simultaneous-deploy card battler set across four lanes, with matches resolving in under five minutes. Through Studios and Shop verticals, the IP continues to scale into apparel, gaming, and original storytelling.
The inclusion of Deadfellaz 7586 in our Flagship Collection recognizes one of the defining NFT-native brands of its generation — a project that turned a genderless zombie PFP into a cultural property spanning fashion, fantasy sports, gaming, and a community known simply as The Horde. Founded on Friday the 13th in 2021, Deadfellaz built a universe where the undead are the anti-heroes, and where Fresh, Damaged, and Rotten became the shared language of an entire ecosystem.
Welcome home, 7586 🌊
Been seeing all the homies pick up grails over the last few days, I knew had to get in on the fun... I'm excited to finally join the @Deadfellaz fam, and obviously had to find a clean one to fit the vibe! 🧟🔮
