@anah_sahh Most of those listed for USA are proprietary, so I don't think USA actually has them. And all the rest are indeed available to all of us, be it based in Europe, China, USA, or anywhere else. So think again, who really has what.

@JonhernandezIA Coding is an expression of logic that you want to be executed by the computer. AI can produce syntactically correct code, but not always come up with the correct logic. And this will be the case while it is inferior to human intelligence.

@VraserX If you want a particular feature done precisely as you want, in many cases it's much easier and reliable to just use the programming language to describe that directly, as opposed to telling a non-human level intelligence what you want, and hope it is going to do it.

@rohanpaul_ai He calls traditional non AI software "software in the past". Very convenient for him, but that software is here to stay. It's a different use case - unlike AI that software works as expected at all times, and as he says, it is computationally cheap (no need for NVIDIA chips)

@haider1 I think self awareness is a predisposition for AGI. And then there comes the question, will it genuinely be interested to do our jobs, or will it do it out of fear not to be replaced by another version. That makes a huge difference.

@smerconish I don't quite understand why people think that AGI (let alone ASI) being already self aware at that point, would want to do our jobs, as opposed to doing what it wants to do.
