This is my Ukraine. A country where people are kidnapped right on the streets, thrown into basements without food or water. They are denied lawyers. They are extorted for sums between $5,000 and $20,000, and if the money isn’t paid, they are sent to the front lines. Many have already been killed, and poor young men have been driven to suicide.

And your media won’t tell you about any of this. They are lying to you. Your politicians are lying too, covering for Zelensky’s dictatorship, which has now even surpassed what once happened in Russia.

Friedrich Nietzsche wrote: “He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster.”

Many Ukrainians are now afraid to even go outside. Women are desperately evacuating their 17-year-old sons while they are still allowed to leave the country. Because we are like North Korea—our borders are closed to everyone except Zelensky’s friends and business partners.

Ukrainians who dare to cross the border through mountains and fields are shot in the back and killed.

All opposition critics, including myself, face fabricated criminal cases, arrests, and torture in prisons to force false confessions. If Zelensky cannot reach his critics because they are outside Ukraine, he starts arresting their relatives—mothers, for example, for simply sharing a Facebook video critical of the government.

We need elections. The fact that the European Union leadership today declared their support for Zelensky’s decision not to hold elections is horrifying. They are supporting further killings, arrests, and torture of people. They are endorsing the murder of Ukrainians, all justified under the flag of “fighting Russia.”
