The worst part is that this isn’t even a new concept! Plenty of live-service games give you the option to completely skip all of its previous content to access the newest release. It gives you the warning that you will be missing out on key story points but you still have to option. They keep acting like this is their first game. I’m starting to wonder if the CEO ever actually knew anything about games prior to founding the damn company.
