#WATCH | Thiruvananthapuram, Keralam: On the proposed reorganisation of the Palakkad Railway Division, Congress MP Kodikunnil Suresh says, "Today morning I spoke to the Railway Minister to rethink and reconsider this merger. But unfortunately, the Railway Minister replied that this merger is necessary and inevitable from an administrative and developmental standpoint... The Government of Kerala had demarcated 200 acres of land for setting up a coach factory, but the Railways failed to deliver on that coach factory and backed out of their promise. Now, without any assurances, the Railway Ministry has decided to merge the Mangaluru section into the Mysuru Division..."

@nagabhushanb @CaptBrijesh @SWRRLY Mostly once Ginigera-Raichur and Gadag-wadi line completes, it can be added to SWR . Since Kalaburagi-Yadgir-Raichur line gets Direct connection with SWR network by those two lines.

With these, whole karnataka rail network will come under single railway zone.
