That fee will be passed on to the job seekers not employers. So an H1B worker getting paid $170k/yr will be paid $150k/yr. Dept of Labor suggests a minimum salary band for H1Bs and companies will keep paying at the lower end of a salary band aka $150k instead of $170k.

$10-20k per year fee per visa solves the problem

OpenAI just released User-agent for its crawler.
They justify their web crawl and data collection to 'help AI models become more accurate and improve'. For whom? For their paying customers.

What incentives can an independent blogger struggling to get their work out would be happy to let OpenAI steal their data?
