Heyy, I'm new on #arttwitter :). To kick off this account I decided to make a #artvsartist grid with some of my favorite pieces. Which one do you like the best?
i know people always say "it's not about numbers" or "draw for yourself not for others" and i get it but my god do i crave validation and recognition sometimes. if i worked my ass off and spent days on an art piece it'd at least be nice to see a hundred or two hundred likes on it
A sketch I made for a bigger artwork.
In the second picture there is a collage I made to get me inspired for this project, I photographed my sister for this. #artontwitter#humanartists#art#sketch
(2/2) When I started making art) I mostly drew exactly from photographs. In contrast with the new art I make, this is something you can do mindlessly, which can be really therapeutic. It creates a moment where you can just turn off your thoughts and run on automatic pilot.
Again, an old drawing from 2018. I am posting art in chronological order from old to new. I can't wait to post art that I made recently, this new art represents me more as a person, it has a lot more creativity and thus self-expression to it. (1/2)

@Dashillus I would love to do a collab :). I'm working on a line-art piece at the moment (it's almost done). I will text you when I'm done with it, okay?
I really like how I did the details of this ink piece. I did this piece from imagination. There was no intention to make it an art piece in the first place, I just started doodling some flowers, I eventually kept adding more and more.

With the new instagram update it's impossible to find posts of small creatures on your feed or in the hashtags. It costs me so much energy to find any post with less than 1000 likes. And, more important, how the fuck can I grow as an artist who just started insta 2 weeks ago??!
Here’s part two of the high school sketchbook I made for art class. One assignment was to make art pieces inspired by different art styles. I chose cubism, art nouveau and pop art.
