Volvo posted a 3 min and 46 second ad on Instagram, shot by Hoyte Van Hoytema, the cinematographer of Interstellar and Oppenheimer.

It goes against every single rule you can think about as a social lead. Length. Format. Over-produced.

Every comment under the ad said it immediately put Volvo in their consideration set. It's fucking fantastic.

@StPeters2020 Totally unnecessary, unhelpful to those using cars to transport children and elderly people, or tradesmen.
There are already too many limitations to car traffic -humps, speed limits, parking restrictions, exorbitant parking for non-residents, one way streets. Enough is enough.

A bag of fresh food - a jar of my lentil stew, cherry cake from the bakery, fruit and tomatoes. For two people in their 80s in isolation whom I love dearly.
