@_cryptoeater As for validators. Have them stake HBD. Then they earn off of market transactions or given cards/lands/items only validators can earn but are not soulbound.
@_cryptoeater The issue is the economy has to many types of tokens. DEC, DEC-B, SPS, VOUCHERS, Credits. Each one weakened the previous ones. DEC was a stable coin. DEC-B a sink whole for that stability but isn't. Just convert/scrap them all. HIVE has HBD and just add more precision to it.
@ZssBecker@JRNYcrypto This is a problem with ANY Coin at any layer that charges fees. Fees eventually force all the mid to low level player our of the game. Here is the the case for why its the same for BTC. https://t.co/FkfVIbwYxu
@BasilMarples@Lordbutterfly So what we are doing now? People always looking like i'm stupid and in a cult when talk about how different hive is than everything else.
For @NTmoney: Hive's Answer to Crypto's Centralization Concerns
In a world where decentralization is no longer a buzzword but a reality we ardently seek, the percentage of tokens allocated to a team or investors becomes a vital metric. This metric, subtle yet potent, can influence a blockchain's trajectory, impacting its decentralization, security, and trustworthiness.
Consider the following allocations in some of the most popular #cryptocurrency:
Bitcoin: 0%
Ethereum: 9.9%
Worldcoin: 25%
Binance Coin: 50%
Solana: 62%
Hive: 0%
It's evident from the table above that as the percentage rises, so does the possibility of centralization. But numbers only tell half the story. Behind the facade of statistics and allocations lie narratives of resilience, determination, and community spirit.
I recall the time when our community confronted a hostile takeover. Amidst adversity and potential collapse, no entity, regardless of its influence or might, managed to assert dominance over our community. It was the spirit of decentralization that saved the day.
Now, why is this crucial? It’s not merely about defeating adversarial threats but establishing that in an environment untouched by the heavy hands of investors and internal teams, a community can flourish, innovate, and self-govern.
Now, you might be curious about the platform that carries such attributes. This is where Hive enters the conversation.
#Hive: A blockchain that takes pride in its zero allocations to any venture capitalist, team, or investors. Its foundation isn't built on capital but on genuine community contributions, making it a paragon of what a decentralized platform should represent.
Nick, like many others, you are a thought leader in the crypto domain. It would be a missed opportunity if you weren't acquainted with Hive's philosophy and infrastructure. Beyond the familiar terrains of Bitcoin and Ethereum, Hive offers a testament to the power of true decentralization.
In Conclusion: While the #crypto world progresses with dazzling innovations, it is essential to take a moment and reflect on what decentralization truly means. Is it just a term we use to market a new project, or does it signify a philosophy we strive to achieve? I invite you, Nick, and every curious mind, to explore @hiveblocks – not just as another #blockchain but as a testament to the decentralized ethos.
Hive continues to make stories in Ghana as an old woman tells how Hive has sponsored to give her a better vision. Offline events have a significant influence on web3 technology.

🚀 We are excited to announce the launch of HiveDevsSchool.
A new initiative designed to empower #developers interested in learning and building on the #HIVE blockchain.

This is one of the reasons we like Hive. We’ve done 2 billion on chain transactions and it cost us $0. That would have cost us $2M+ on most of those other chains if not more.
This is true through the eyes of web 2.5.
You can’t court order Hive to do anything. If you try & make it illegal you can’t, it’s already changed too many lives & done too much good for the world. No amount of propaganda will change that.
You don’t achieve digital freedom with:
Billions of dollars
Playing by the “rules”
Asking for permission
Hoping
Digital freedom comes from necessity. People dont move until they feel the heat. Hivers move because we are allergic to censorship.
Hive was born thru necessity
