Dropping the pretense that men & women are interchangeable, doing so would mean recognising womanhood & motherhood as gifts divinely ordered by evolutionary biology, going back ~85 million for primates, rather than burdens imposed by the Patrick Clancy patriarchy.

The box contains two states at once: Empowered Woman (agency, strength, “believe her,” she can do anything a man can do) & Eternal Victim (hormones, systems, the voices, the husband, the doctors, the patriarchy). The lid stays shut until an event is costly. Then the observer opens the box & selects the eigenstate that pays.

Lindsay Clancy sent her husband out for takeout. While he was gone she strangled Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, & Callan, 8 months, with exercise bands in the basement, then half-heartedly self-harmed to stage a plausible suicide attempt.

That is the event. The observation is what happened next. The lid opened. Empowered left the building. Victim Feminism arrived in pink.

The children become the weather damage of systemic structures. The threatened mother becomes the victim building being storm damaged.

Watch the superposition work in the wild:
• Before the act: Clancy is a professional, a mother, a planner. She Googles the errand times. She clears the house. That is agency—the Empowered eigenstate.
• After the act: she had no agency. The system failed her. The meds failed her. The voice failed her. Patrick failed her. Anyone who notices the planning is a misogynist who “doesn’t understand birth.” That is the Victim eigenstate, selected because it lets the tribe keep the slogan.

Men are told they may not speak, because they did not lactate. That is not science. That is a priesthood. Human evolutionary biology is not confused on this point: both sexes evolved to recognise dead children as a catastrophe & both sexes have committed infanticide.

We evolved a brain that can tell the difference between basic female evil behaviour, a mental illness that explains diminished accountability, & ideology that victim signals & cry-bullies to erase accountability.

The rallies outside a courthouse, “Same, Lindsay,” as if the relevant unit of analysis were female mood & not three small bodies.

Conspiracy accounts shift the act onto the husband so the waveform never has to collapse onto a woman at all. If she did it, she is sick. If she didn’t, he did. Either way the category is saved. The children do not get a category. They get a hashtag afterthought.

None of this requires denying that postpartum psychosis exists. It is rare, ugly & real. A serious civilization can hold three facts: women’s evil exists, a mind can break due to illness, & three children are still dead by their mother’s mind & hands. Schrödinger’s Feminist cannot hold them. She needs the box. Open it on a promotion & you get Girlboss uber-agent. Open it on a filicide & you get Patient Zero of the healthcare system. The measurement is never “what happened to Cora.” The measurement is “which story still makes us the good guys atop the high moral ground.”

Women are not uniquely wicked—but a politics which sold itself as agency will auction agency the moment agency becomes expensive, then call the auction compassion. Evolution spent millions of years making us the animal that does not eat its young, a few decades of theory produced a crowd that can look at three strangled children & ask whether the mother was heard.

The cat is dead. The kids are dead. The theory is still purring.
