@aquiboni @SBComicsFair aaa I missed this comment!! Thank you so much!!!

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

less than a week till SBCF'24, where I will be debuting a new comic!

SACRED BODIES is a story about what different people/s see as taboo, and the socio-cultural lines that delineate propriety and deviancy. Also there's bird monster people, wow

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

@cheeseg51149337 @ChimpMilk the day I posted this link was the last day of the fair. I’ll have the comic available again from my online store later this month

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

a helpful set of pictures showcasing how the Ba'It Garaang from my comic grow from pink nugget to large chicken

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

@Mosie_Mustard lmao I love this picture

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

@SneakyBeakySpy in this setting they are natural predators of humans so yes :)

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

@applesidre I will! I'm in the process of doing pre-press now :} I hope I'll have it available mid-to-late November

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

@FarthingandFox you are correct and you should say it

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

@summer_doggo ye! slightly longer lifespan than humans

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

@ClergyMother it's some tangental world-building from my comic about how a human woman marries a Garaang Ba'It

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

@beetles001 haha, thank you! I'd like to write more stories from this world one day.

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

@whethervane As for lifespan, probably slightly longer than humans, though the world they live in is quite harsh. If they lived under conditions and with resources as we do in our world, their average lifespan would be about 100 years.

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

@whethervane Maturity is more of a cultural matter. In the societies Garaang are part of, much like for the humans they live with, you are considered an adult when you can provide for yourself and for others, so anywhere from 14 - 17 depending on individual factors.

[VER @ drawing comics @verface]

@ChimpMilk there's a chunk of Garaang world-building locked up in the comic these guys are part of (https://t.co/rjRTpzcYMv) so I haven't talked much about them anywhere

@saint_vagrant @bluedelliquanti SACRED BODIES by VER @verface
A negotiation between a newly wedded couple that takes an angle not usually explored in a dynamic like this, but where it fits like a glove. And, you know, it looks THIS stunning:
