This is how to interpret and use my 'Weekly Watch' bias guide. Every week, I will share my watchlist for that week and what I expect to see. It changes weekly.
If I give a weekly direction, it means we should either see most (3+) days of the week expand in that direction...OR
What a nightmare. Thank goodness it's still possible to get intervention in this world of automated moderation. 2 appeals and many weeks later, I've recovered my account.
I can tell you exactly why this happened. Incomplete understanding of timeframes. But people don't like to think that they have blind spots, so I won't elaborate.
Knowing what's obviously wrong with a set-up is not the same thing as having a 100% win rate. Reactions like yours are the reason for the second part of my comment.
There's a simple solution to directional bias problems. The highest timeframes. Not higher... it's not relative. Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly, daily. That's where bias lives.
Tbh my problem is Directional Bias, I don't really have issue spotting a clean and precise entry if my Bias is clear.
I've used Order flow, CRT, MSS for My directional bias.... But it's still not clear to me.
I've even watched Tony iyke videos....
ICT - Wait 6 hours for the perfect setup.. chase it.. miss it.. blame the algorithm.
SMC - Convince yourself you're trading like the banks.. while banks are farming you.
CRT - Analyze one candle like it's the meaning of life.. still get wicked out.
S&R - Lines you draw with confidence.. that price ignores with confidence.
S&D - This is ''INDUCEMENT''.. nope, it was the real move.
MACD - Tells you a trend started.. right after it's over.
RSI - ''It's overbought''.. turns out it was oversold.
Trendlines - Drawn perfectly.. until price pokes through and ruins your whole identity.
EMA - Alive support & resistance.. with a personal grudge against you.
@thekiddnoble I tell you... traders are masochists. In love with being able to lament about how difficult it is. Almost like they don't want it to finally work out, so they can keep the company of other miserable people like them.
@PaulNicola23150 I don't claim to. But you can know something that someone else doesn't. Humility helps you get smarter. He got his confirmation, but it was premature. If he knew how to align timeframes better, he would have filtered out this particular signal.
@Essenstrade Okay. The answer is in timeframe alignment. EURUSD is inside a weekly bearish gap. For weekly levels, you need a 4 hour trend change at the minimum, for sells to be viable. But his break of structure and entry were on the 1 hour and 15 minutes. Next week watch what happens on H4
@probernard_02 Oh I do... that's not the point of my comment. I've made a lot of content addressing premature and aggressive entries. Every time, I get backlash from traders who want to remain unprofitable. That's why I'm jaded.
What is this crazy obsession with sniper entries?? I've never understood it! Okay, the 5 minute impulsive candle has worsened your risk to reward. It's no longer 5R... it's now what, maybe 3R? And that was not good enough??
So let me understand this. you had a limit order. The market traded to it and moved in your direction. You were on the charts to witness this. And you let the trade play out without you because it was no longer going to yield 5R. Your broker was not your enemy here. You were.
