48 hrs ago, we lost the 6 y/o of our house help in a car accident. As she grew up w us initially, it felt like losing a niece.

@JimSproch Yeah, the SO is not official source but the micro optimisation it talks about does hold true.. using state did skip recomposition for some composable. Anyhow, is there a functional downside to using state in param as well?

Is it acceptable to pass State<a> as a parameter in a Composable? Are there any advantage or disadvantage to this instead of unwrapping the state?

Every new thing needs time to mature but its not the time alone that helps it become mature. Its the early adopters who help it in its journey, good or bad.
