Just played ALIEN USCSS NOSTROMO - the alien won, after killing everyone fairly early except for Ripley and Lambert. They struggled on, and were 2 emergency protocols from victory when the starship exploded.

ARCHITECTS OF THE WEST KINGDOM is a very fine example of the worker placement genre of board game. It has a lovely-looking board, and does enough different for it to stay in my collection.
Don’t think much of the expansions, though.
