The World Help family made an incredible impact on Giving Tuesday! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who helped provide food and other lifesaving essentials for people in need. Your generosity helped saved lives and demonstrated God’s love worldwide!
Although methods and strategies have changed over the years, I have never been able to “lay aside” the passion that God has given me for reaching the world with the Gospel. #helpandhope@world_help
A Lutheran pastor, who endured horrific torture to protect members of the underground church, once said … “A church that does not remember its persecuted brethren is no church at all.” So, how can we partner with the persecuted church?
I was reading an interview about this famous quote by Mr. Rogers. He once said, “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say this to me." In my work with @world_help I like to think of this quote. It's so true.
One of my favorite projects at @world_help is giving Bibles to those in need. It all started when I was a 17-year-old boy in Mexico. And now I'm amazed to see Bibles being distributed all around the world.
God is all about new beginnings. Maybe you can relate. He often starts things when we think it's over. He brings beauty from ashes and hope into the darkest places.
I remember being in Africa and God asking me to love these little children because He loved them. He loved them as much as my own children in America. I had to ask God to give me his love and his eyes to see the world. I'm so thankful he answers prayers.
I remember being in this hospital like it was yesterday. We were in Russia and they didn't have enough supplies. People were dying and the scene was bleak. As a cancer survivor, it was powerful. But we were able to offer help and hope right then and there. #tbt
