@booksandbbq Many Californian’s (forgotten) ancestry is from the South. Very Northern CA/Southern Oregon attitudinally would fit in and also had some Appalachian early settlers there. However the political and behavioral differences are now very far apart.
There was a concerted effort to make Dixie politically incorrect. There is a list online somewhere that shows how many companies removed the name Dixie for Southern or something else pre and post covid era. Big drop. These businesses responded to the fear. Therefore there will be another wave against Dixie another time. Unless there’s a counterattack to re-popularize.
@MarioNawfal 1. India recognizes they have too many people
2. India cannot solve any problems bc of the number of people
3. India cannot stop its people from amounting to 2 billion peole
4. India must export as many people around the world as possible to stay afloat
@SouthernMB82@grok
What are the percentages of foreign born residents in southern US states (gen 1) and their US born children (gen 2). Provide high, medium, and low estimate, and combined total as % of state population. Show California's at the bottom for comparison.

@dogeofficialceo What it gets wrong is that there will be any functioning institutions at that (this) demographic projection. There will be no Mega-Costco or whatever the store is supposed to be. Resources will be scarce. The future will be fatally violent instead of harmlessly incompetent.
@Gentleman_Ways Disagree with this as gentlemanly. It’s actually anti-gentlemanly. “Spend money, consume. Spend money, consume. Treat people as interesting things to entertain yourself. Give into whatever you feel. Drink alone.” We saw the natural conclusion to this.
