Ideally a timescale but at least an acknowledgment. Otherwise people are going to assume you've taken the money, spunked it and don't care.

@MarkMcCreadyUK I don't think it's an explicit intention but it's definitely something people, including staff and competitors, thought was the intention and I don't recall anyone rushing to clarify stuff like that.
This was a long time ago though. Maybe things changed after I left.
