@ThatEricAlper The real Groundhog’s Day. Great one time, but waiting for hours in 17 degree, sleety February weather just to see fancy men hold a groundhog aloft was not something worth doing again. Sorry, Phil!
@BeccaIsEditing Go you! This must be a thing today. Texted my tall neighbor to stop by before he left for work because mine was “chirping” this morning. Next to the desk. In my office.
@BeccaIsEditing Portland is an adventure on every block. Sooo many things to see just walking around. I did the brunch thing and saw a lightbulb store… seriously Portlandia. And wonderful.
@NeuroArchie How awful. This makes me so angry. I develop online content for university courses and this is basic: it MUST be accessible. It’s a law but more importantly it’s the right thing to do. George Elliot quote:
“What are we here for if not to make life less difficult for each other.”
@Wizzr@Photoshop Yep… on some contracts I had to stagger how long a designer worked on the “heavy” projects because it got to be too depressing. “I went to art school for THIS!?”
@ThatEricAlper Got called out to draw a dove for the booklet cover for a memorial service for the 9/11 Shanksville crash families the Sunday after it happened. The Red Cross’s internet was down and I was the first graphics person in the local phone book. I lived 7 miles from the crash site.😔
