This Yale professor using not-so-tricky words and then defining them as if she assumes this asshole senator won’t understand them is the power move I didn’t know I needed to witness today.

Interpreting a public hearing & having to remain a neutral third party when people in power are being blatantly racist/classist while hearing my toddler crying for me upstairs is really testing my limits. Writing down names to donate against some people’s re-election campaigns.

Just got really hard news about a former student. When y’all called me “mom” before I became a mom—when I called you “my babies” and you let me even though you were 14, 15, 16, 17, 18—even though you’re now 19, 20, 21, 22, 23—I meant it. I love you. I’m here.

A Puerto Rico judge has ordered the arrest of Wayne Stensby, CEO of @lumaenergypr (the private company that handles transmission & distribution of electricity in P.R.).
Stensby was ordered by the judge to submit certain documents demanded by legislators.
He didn’t.

Went to a wedding & a (cis-het) man told me to “sleep when the baby sleeps” because that’s what he does. I wanted to ask if that’s what his wife does too, but she had stayed home with the baby so I feel like I know the answer to that.

Phew! Looks like kiddo *is* allergic to one or more of the following: dairy, soy, gluten, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts (inc. coconut), corn. Two more weeks of this elimination diet & hopefully we can start adding things back in! 😅
