While the voiceover talks about the grind, champion mentality, and “who actually wants to be first,” this orange robot just plasters walls. No smoke breaks. No sick days. No “I’m not in the zone today.”
It didn’t replace every construction worker — that’s clickbait. But it already handles one of the hardest, most repetitive jobs on site: applying plaster/putty, leveling, covering large wall areas. The person next to it is more operator and edge-finisher than the guy swinging a trowel all day.
The future of construction doesn’t look like an army of people in hard hats. It looks like a few operators plus a fleet of robots. Scary to some. Obvious to others. Just a good reel to the rest.
