If you have been struck by usefulness of #VersaText, you might like to know that there is now a Kindle book explaining and exemplifying its value to #ELT, #CLIL, #EMI, #ESP teachers. https://t.co/4ViOCyqI6X
@InsomniacsUnan@BBCHARDtalk Not absolutely appalling, but there were some curious lapses here. SS missed the point several times as well as expressing his own point disguised as a commonly held view.
@rajandatar When I started teaching in Cz in 1990, some of my students who were teachers told me that it was amazing to experience Comenius-style teaching from an Australian. They studied Comenius but never put his ideas into practice! At the time I'd never heard of Comenius.
@BBC_Reel 6. #3 again - a video I've just watched keeps popping up in the small frame at the bottom right. Go away.
7. Went to LongShots. No better. Came back and lo! the video I've already seen has popped again in the small frame at the bottom right.
Who watches BBC Reel. Why?
@BBC_Reel
5. I can't imagine a less interesting talk than small talk in Sweden. Why does that keep not only appearing, but start playing? Especially when I've watched it and it was as pointless as the title warned me.
@BBC_Reel 3. Why when I scroll down is there a window within a window of something I've just stopped watching?
4. Why when I mouseover a vid's homepage does it jump out at me? I know where my cursor is.
@BBC_Reel BBC Reel
I've been seeing ads for BBC Reel on BBC News channel for ages. They always look interesting and so I took the evening off to watch.
1. Why can't i turn the subtitles off?
2. Where is the search field? I'd like to look up some of the advertised things?
@DrSamWillis Loving your Silk Road series, especially as I'm currently living in Tashkent. This time last week was in Khiva, having been to the Aral and Nukus. Khiva without tourists is even more amazing. Sad of course but not as sad as the Aral.
@bbclysedoucet Why can't the dozens of European embassies in dozens of African and Middle Eastern countries open their doors to asylum seekers? Enough with a decade of people traffickers, shonky rafts and tragic camps.
