None of us at the first Pride used the slur "queer". Later, when the French degenerate and child molester (he had a thing for Tunisian boys) Michel Foucault developed queer theory, we had even more reason to reject that name. What's wrong with you? Why would you call yourself a hateful slur associated with child abuse? Queers "parade" naked in front of children at today's Prides. Jews are discriminated against by today's queer organizers of Pride, as are gays and lesbians because the queers now deem same-sex orientation to be exclusionary.
I’ve written to MPs, lobbied, tried to point out this bill means children carried away by the social contagion of “trans”, will not only be prevented from getting the advice they desperately need from parents and other adults, but that government will criminalise you for attempting to get your child out of a cult.
And they don’t listen. They keep prattling on with their self righteous smug posts, with replies turned off.
Don’t vote @UKLabour
Don’t vote @LucyMPowell
And don’t trust @AndyBurnhamGM
This isn’t about right vs. left. This is - along with the puberty blockers “trial” - ie “let’s damage children to validate cross dressers” is about right vs. Wrong.
It’s not just a fringe issue either. This is *children* often children who would grow up to be gay - sacrificed for the ideology of individual narcissism.
It’s a modern day blasphemy bill, criminalising parents and other adults trying to save children from the reality denying dangerous cult of transgender.
The fact it’s using gay rights to gain legitimacy is a secondary insult.
I will never recognise any legitimacy in gender identity and I will advocate for people to leave the transgender cult. Arrest me if you so wish.
Mr. Davies,
For a brief, fleeting 10-15 years, WE ALMOST HAD IT. The years between 1998-2012, roughly, we were very close, when no one really gave a damn either way. I remember it distinctly. An enormous shift in attitude’s & acceptance had occurred, after the horrors of being gay in the 80’s to the early-mid 90’s.
I was NOT alone in feeling this, even amongst the upper echelons of the ‘Gay Mafia’ I used to hang around with said the same.
The original aim was EQUALITY & we were, more or less, there.
Then along came identity politics, gender ideology & Que*r Theory, which screwed everything up.
Stonewall’s CEO, Ruth Hunt, said in 2014/15, & I quote, that their shift in focus was “known to be controversial, that it would be difficult, that people would LOSE by that & that herself & the staff thought THAT WAS A PRICE WORTH PAYING.” In other words, they KNEW this would receive pushback, yet were unwilling to listen or engage with those of us who had serious concerns.
A subsequent Stonewall CEO, Nancy Kelley, called lesbians “sexual racists” for not including men in their dating pool.
Michael Cashman called for those who had questions, predominantly women, about this shift to be “defecated upon” & there was “no debate” to be had.
And NOW look where we are.
Look around at the utter mess we’re in.
If you’re going to “look at yourself as an idiot”, at least be aware of WHY you might feel that way & what part you, yourself, played in it.
You cannot cheerlead & encourage an ideology that has caused so much destruction & damage, & then pretend to be flummoxed as to the reasons WHY everything has got so much worse.
Just so we’re clear…
If it's obvious to you that cutting your legs off is the sign of a mentally ill man with a fetish then why do you think autistic kids wanting their breasts or cocks cut off is the sign of them embracing their true inner selves?
11 trans people have been murdered since 2000. 3 by “clients”, 1 drug dealer, 2 family 3 partners, 1 by school students and 1 by a transwomen. All knew their killers.
I see Nicola Sturgeon is once again complaining that I posted a picture of myself wearing a T-shirt with her name on it and the legend 'Destroyer of Women's Rights.' Apparently this didn't 'elevate the debate.'
Is there a clinical term for an individual who has extreme thinness of skin when it comes to their own perceived hurts, coupled with a rhino-hide when it comes to the fear and suffering of others?
I'm thinking in particular of the two women Isla Bryson raped, who had to watch their First Minister squirm and smirk on TV as she tried to avoid admitting he was a man; of the five survivors of male violence who were ready to give evidence to Sturgeon's committee on gender self-ID, but were told to put their concerns in writing while seventeen trans-identified people appeared in person; of the mother of a young girl with a learning disability who campaigned against self-ID because she wanted her daughter to be guaranteed same sex intimate care, should she need it (the mother was presumably one of those female opponents Sturgeon calls 'shrill' and 'hysterical' in her memoir); of the ten-year-old girl sexually assaulted in a public bathroom by a 6'5" paedophile who served his jail sentence in a women's prison because he called himself 'Katie'; of Sandie Peggie, forced to discuss her own menstrual history in public to justify not wanting to undress in view of a 6ft straight cross-dresser in the nurses' changing room; of Marion Millar, dragged into court because she tweeted a picture of suffragette ribbons; of the Scottish rape crisis centres reliant on government funding who were pressured to admit trans-identified males into their services if they wanted funding to continue.
When Sturgeon refers to an 'elevated debate', she means a discussion that takes place within a tiny, smug bubble from which regular women suffering real life consequences of her policies are firmly excluded. These faceless ants are loftily dismissed as bigots, or, to be more precise: 'transphobic, misogynistic, homophobic, maybe racist as well.'
Nicola, you hated the T-shirt picture because you couldn't ignore it, as you'd ignored so many other women trying to make you understand their concerns. Appeals to your empathy, your intelligence and your compassion all failed. Apparently the only way to get through to you is through your vanity.
Whether Sturgeon used the kitchen is not the point.
The point is as party leader she actively prevented scrutiny of the accounts by the audit committee and party treasurer.
While her husband stole from them.
Nothing to do with misogyny.
It's certainly not obvious to me. Nicola Sturgeon talked a lot about independence but never did anything about it. She attended anti-Brexit marches but never Scottish Independence marches. When I was on the SNP Policy Development Committee in 2021 I found out that, not only did she completely ignore the PDC but, under her leadership, the SNP had done no work whatsoever on independence policies or planning. She then insisted that the “gold standard” route to independence could only be via the S.30 process, giving a veto on a referendum to the UK prime minister, and then mounted an unnecessary and doomed challenge in the UK's Supreme Court.
While doing all this, she made sure that the SNP was eviscerated of all the most effective pro-independence activists and devoted her time to the promotion of those with limited ability but undying loyalty to her personally, and used “progressive” trans ideologues as her praetorian guard. The last thing that the UK establishment would have wanted to do would have been to get rid of her – she was a major guarantee that another independence campaign would never happen. In summary, she pretended to be pro independence and the UK press and establishment pretended to believe her.
This is one of the most psychologically revealing things he’s ever said. Consider that we’re supposed to be his “friends.”
“I don't like friends that become very successful. I like people that are just OK. Even if they're terrible, I like that, too. I hate like when I have lunch with somebody that's really, really successful. I hate it. Because he or she is bragging about how great they are. And I hate that when they do that. Because they stopped me from talking about the fact that I became president.”
One of the most terrifying attacks carried out by Israel,
where it completely destroyed the Mashteha Tower within a matter of seconds, as it is considered one of the largest and most beautiful towers in Gaza, and houses thousands of families living in it,
despite the thousands of tents that were located on every side of this tower, aircraft launched no less than 6 deadly missiles that resulted in thousands of lethal shrapnel fragments, which led to the destruction of thousands of tents that were the only shelter for the families.
This is not just a war, this is genocide.
@acailler@dailystar It’s dactylitis, which he’s had for a long time. A feature of psoriatic inflammatory arthritis of the hands, often accompanied by ridged nails (qv). Look it up.
During Victorian times it was normal to have six or seven children because parents were aware that most children would not make it to adulthood due to limited access to gender affirming care facilities.
