About Ceuta. A lot of reports outside Spain (I've seen quite a few in 🇫🇷 🇬🇧🇩🇪) are getting it wrong

Ceuta is 𝐧𝐨𝐭 in Europe. It's a Spanish enclave in Africa and as such has a special border regime. Reaching Ceuta does not mean you've reached mainland Spain (and therefore Schengen) for which you need either a visa or refugee status. Most of the desperate migrants from Morocco will be returned before they can travel onwards into mainland Spain

The question no one outside Spain asks is why this is happening. Sanchez visited Algeria this week, which greatly angered Morocco. These kind of images, often without the above context, greatly embarras Sanchez and whip up the usual RW hysteria about "being invaded"

🇺🇾 FIFA en el marco de un vídeo conmemorativo de la Copa del Mundo compartió de forma oficial la Medalla Conmemorativa del título de 1928 entregada por la ARM a los jugadores de Uruguay.

Esta se caracteriza por tener la inscripción "Campeones del Mundo" y por ende el ente rector del fútbol mundial acepta que este fue un Campeonato del Mundo. De no ser un Título Mundial, FIFA no hubiese hecho mención y no hubiese usado esa imágen exactamente.

Todo esto se añade al permiso de 1992 para portar 4 estrellas en el escudo el cual FIFA aprobó.

Me resulta increíble que no se den cuenta de que la supuesta campaña “antiargentina” la alimentan ellos mismos con discursos berretas como este.

Cuando Uruguay quedó afuera con España, se viralizaron videos de todos lados cagándose de la risa de nosotros. Incluso circuló el video de la fanfest de Argentina festejando nuestra eliminación.

Y acá ningún periodista uruguayo salió a exigirle al resto de Latinoamérica que no podía alegrarse por la derrota de Uruguay. Tampoco armamos una teoría conspiranoica sobre que el continente nos odia o que existe una campaña internacional para domesticarnos.

Nos chupó un huevo, porque así es el fútbol. Se gana, se empata y se pierde. Y los que ganan más suelen tener más gente esperando que pierdan. No es tan difícil de entender. Hoy te reís vos, mañana yo, y así se sigue. No van a dejar de ser grandes porque Jaimito en Colombia quería que ganara España.

Después se preguntan de dónde sale la imagen de soberbia argentina, pero salen a hablar como si el resto del continente les debiera admiración, respeto y obediencia.

Son grandes y, cuando un grande cae, el barrio se divierte.

Answering a question in his Reddit AMA, Péter Magyar confirmed that he supports a new, direct presidential election system in Hungary, but the issue will be put to the people on a prospective referendum on the new constitution of thr country in the autumn. Since 1990, Hungary only elected its heads of states through parliament.
