1. Dynastic Politics
Myths and Reality
I've seen far too many seemingly educated men and women commenting on Dynastic Politics using irrational and illogical arguments and comparisons.
We will try to dissect these one by one. 🧵
My husband told me he was pulling an all-nighter at the office to finish a merger. His phone died at midnight. I felt bad, so I stayed up to make him breakfast.
At 3:15 AM, our smart refrigerator sent a notification to my phone: “Family Hub Camera Updated.”
I opened the app. It takes a photo inside the fridge every time the door opens. Reflected perfectly in the glass of the milk carton was my husband, standing in our kitchen in his underwear, pouring a glass of wine for a woman whose face was blocked by the orange juice.
By the time I ran downstairs, the kitchen was empty and he was gone. He came home at 8 AM in his work suit, swearing he never left the office.
I showed him the reflection.

@_amitbehere I'm not an atheist but I fully understand, appreciate and agree with the sentiment of your post. If I see anyone attacking a minority member in Pakistan, I'll side with the minority member no matter what.
@_amitbehere I do not care how bad, pathetic or silly a minority is. I'll protect and side with them simply because they are weak. My heart always goes for the weaker one even in games.
Men are not "intimidated" by your degree, your corporate job, your tax bracket, or your fierce independence. They genuinely do not care about your resume. What modern women call "intimidation" is actually just a man walking away because your combative energy, constant need to argue, and refusal to yield is completely exhausting. You aren't intimidating; you are just insufferable to come home to.
@tropiicalhoe Pakistani men are no angels but they beat their Indian counterparts by a huge margin when it comes to sense of humor and at least comparative decency
@_amitbehere A Pakistani completely agrees with you and say everything about his own country as well just like you do. We are not less but more, I hope
Sir, people in Pakistan are known for their warm hospitality their “mehman nawazī” is truly admirable. They also lead a decent lifestyle.
The image we’ve grown up seeing, largely shaped by Bollywood, doesn’t always reflect reality. While we often mock or criticize them, they generally don’t respond in the same way in fact, many interact with Indians quite respectfully.
It’s mostly politics and media narratives that have created this divide. As people, we should rise above that and avoid unnecessary mockery! 🙏🏻
Hi Col. I quickly went through replies. I felt happy that a military officer knows what grace and ethics are. And I felt sad even he is not safe from extremists of his own country. My respect to you nevertheless from Pakistan 🫡
