Demon's scary right? But here’s what no one tells you...is that they’re part of the design. Every ancient text says it. The asuras in the Vedas, the archons in the Gnostic Gospels, Mara in the Buddhist canon, Satan in Job… they weren’t rogue forces; they were authorized obstacles. Challenges placed not to crush the soul, but to forge it. “The asuras serve the gods by being their enemies,” says the Mahabharata. Even the Bible admits in Job 1:6 that Satan comes before God’s throne; of course with permission to test the faithful. These aren’t glitches. They’re pressure points. And if you don’t understand that, you’ll spend your life running from what you were actually meant to face.

God didn’t just allow demons. God built them in. Think of them like spiritual resistance training. You can’t grow a muscle without strain. You can’t remember the Self without first forgetting it. And you can’t forget it deeply enough unless something pulls you so far into illusion, you have to choose your way back out. That’s the whole point. Demons scream “You are this fear. You are this craving. You are this body.” But the moment you see through that seduction...and stand still in your awareness...they collapse. That’s not spiritual warfare. That’s spiritual maturity.

Imagine a video game. You’re the main character trying to reach the center of a labyrinth. Every level gets harder. The enemies smarter. The tricks crueler. But in reality... you designed the whole thing. You programmed the shadows. You coded in the enemies. Why? So you could earn the knowing. Because if there was no resistance, there’d be no awakening. As the Devi Bhagavatam puts it, “Even the deluders are my children. They play their part in the cosmic dance.” When you finally see the pattern...when you realize the demon was never separate from the divine...you don’t need to fight it. You need to bow… and walk through it.

Next time those "deomons" come for you ...don’t run. Don’t call it evil. Look closer. See the ancient role it’s playing. See the gate it's guarding. Because remembering isn’t given. It’s triggered. And the dark is not your punishment...it’s your final teacher. Your last mirror. Your sharpening stone. And when you pass that test...not by killing the demon, but by seeing through it...you don’t just awaken. You transcend the script entirely. That’s what the sages knew. And that’s what you came here to remember.

You’re not looking for love. You’re not looking for eternal bliss. You’re not even looking for peace.
You’re looking for freedom. But who am I right? You know what though...somewhere deep inside...you know it. You always have. But no one gave you the words for it.

The world will tell you the meaning of life is love. That the goal is union, or compassion, or divine service. And those are all beautiful things. Powerful things. But they’re still things. They move. They change. They arise and dissolve. Even the radiant beings of the highest lokas, even the devas, angels, gods....they feel love. They feel joy. But they are not free. They are still bound by form. By karma. By cosmic law. They still exist in Lila (divine play).

But Brahman(God)… Brahman is beyond all of it. Beyond love. Beyond bliss. Beyond identity. And when the self merges fully with Brahman, there is nothing left to seek...because there is no one left to seek it. That, is true freedom. Not freedom to do anything. Not freedom from anything. Just freedom itself. Freedom from illusion. Freedom from striving. Freedom from the game.

You'll never get this freedom from another person. Not from a relationship. Not from a movement. Not from some eternal feeling. It only comes from one thing: turning inward. Sitting with what is. Burning through the illusions. Letting every idea of who you are, and what you want, and what’s supposed to happen...fall apart. Until nothing is left but stillness. And then, in that stillness… freedom arrives, not as a thing at all...but as what you’ve always been.

So if you're tired of chasing. If you’ve tried everything. If love, pleasure, devotion, even bliss… still leave you empty… it’s not because you’re broken. It’s because you're finally ready for the real thing. And you don’t have to become anything to get it. You just have to stop running. Namaste. - PS - this is a teaching.
