bad at intro posts. i've been off public social accounts for uhhh several years now but trying to get back into it. probably lots of OC posts + occasional fanart.
obviously I can't word it that well. you get it. look at how wonky, stiff and amateur the 'sketch' is and then look at how symmetrical, loose, the depth in the hands and the hair....
I should have maybe used a word other than lines because it's not REALLY about the quality of the lines, but more like... if someone understands volume(or anatomy) it shows through all the stages, even if the sketch is rough/minimal
is there some better way to articulate that you can always tell when someone is tracing/referencing AI because their construction lines are so much more amateur than the finished product
i've struggled with communicating this before, 'line confidence' is not a universally understood concept especially to non-artists, I guess it's like someone presenting some bakery-tier cookies but when you watch them baking they are using cold butter and eggs
the pain of immediately realizing I should provide context with my ocs. probably won't beyond cursory introductions. this is fishie a fresh water siren who is currently held in captivity by a monster hunter (with... a complicated relationship)
