@cosmicillu21723@CultureCrave You do realise it's the same creators who created TLOK and ATLA right? This has nothing to do with TLOK idiot. Even the voice actor of Iroh plays a part in TLOK, it's about STUDIO EXECUTIVES who never gave a f about Avatar. Moron.
@NjmyWd86697@AuthorXoXiee Earth benders can have various skin tones. And she's inspired by south asian culture because avatar is influenced by south asian culture a lot - the word 'avatar' itself is derived from Sanskrit meaning 'incarnation'
@izamamaa Actually, every human is related. With relatively low genetic variation amongst individuals biologically as a species. While terms like 'black' & 'white' are socially constructed terms to define individuals based on physical characteristics. So the OP's comment is redundant.
@minyrosa555@KathAntonio7 Precisely. She is a fictional character who is part of a fictional world. She may be inspired by a certain culture/people in the real world but ultimately, she isn't 'inuit or 'black because she's fictional. And she has dark skin & blue eyes as physical characteristics.
@soigomaa Human anatomy is different though (they have heavier bones and so on), which is adapted for land dwelling. Other animals adapted to flight like birds have light-weight, pneumatic bones (hollow with air filled gaps) & flight suitable anatomy as well; to add further context.
