"nagulat ako, naglabas ng laptop si josh and he started to present-- he made a full presentation about possible legislation to help filipino artists going abroad." - Sen. Bam
si josh yung taong walang sasayanging opportunity and i love him for that. 💥
'VISA' reflects a reality we've experienced firsthand: sharing Filipino music with the world takes more than just getting to the stage.
We know there are many Filipino creatives who experience their own version of this journey. The proposed Philippine Agency for the Creative Economy (PACE) Act is a step toward giving them more support and more opportunities to take their work beyond the Philippines.
And this goes beyond music. It's for all Filipino creatives who have something to share, whether through dance, film, design, writing, production, or any form of creative work, who dream of sharing their craft with the world.
Suportahan natin ang talento at talino ng mga Pilipino, at nang mabigyan tayo ng mas maraming pagkakataong maibahagi ito sa mundo!

“The responsibility did not actually change. Mas narinig lang kami.”
Philippine Concerts asked SB19: Do you feel a different kind of responsibility now that SB19 is no longer simply participating in the growth of P-pop, but also helping create opportunities for the next generation of artists?
JOSH: It’s not a different responsibility, but I feel like it has always been THE responsibility. the framework has always been there… hindi lang namin alam before paano iexecute because we had little resources… For us to be able to execute it, syempre kailangan muna naming anuhin ang mga sarili namin, magkaroon muna kami ng panggagalingan…as SB19, syempre doon muna kami tumaya… We tried a lot of times actually to reach out to different people, different entities, sectors para mas maisulong namin ‘yung mga gusto namin before. Right now, ngayon pa lang sya nangyayari. Our ultimate goal is to be as big as we can… na madidinig na ang mga gusto naming iparating at itulong sa Philippine entertainment industry. And not just for the Philippine entertainment industry, but for the Philippine economy… Yun po siguro, the responsibility did not actually change. Mas narinig lang kami.
A historic day for all Filipino creatives 🇵🇭
From taking our music to the world to helping make the path wider for those who come next.
We're deeply grateful to be part of this conversation and to everyone working toward a future where more Filipino creatives can dream, create, and take their work beyond our borders. Maraming salamat po!

Wow. @SB19Official you never cease to amaze me. This would be so huge and something truly special since music in the Philippines is clearly having a moment from spreading just by the fans, online and word of mouth. I can only imagine what could happen next with govt assistance 🙏
“What we’re doing for the past years was technically passive yung impact ng nagagawa natin… but now it’s more tangible”
I love what Justin said here. For me actually, ever since they built 1Z entertainment, the impact they’ve been creating is already more tangible.
