i love that time in fandom when a series is still ongoing and there's so much still up to speculation because it means lots of AUs and HCs and theories to enjoy
alastor has spent s1+2 cutting every tie he has. he told mimzy to stay away, escaped his deal with rosie, pushed vox til he broke like never before. niffty + husk have both drifted towards new people. i hope this is all building to his fall. i love when he suffers by his own hand
vox proposes a partnership. and alastors heart skips a beat. the feeling of company turns to dread quickly, he laughs. he has to laugh. he has to stay in control. and for a short while he does. but the same phrase stays in his mind, and wont go away. "i never wanted to love you"
"i never wanted to love you" alastor falls asleep drunken on voxs couch, finds himself getting curious about his ideas, and he figures as long as he keeps those strong feelings in check it will be fine. just because he enjoys his company doesnt mean he isnt in control anymore.
"i never wanted to love you" alastor disappears for months on end just to avoid him, until his feelings return back to normal, and he isnt thinking about him anymore. and when he returns, vox is still there. and the feeling starts coming back again. he starts dropping his guard.
"i never wanted to love you" alastor realizing day by day how vox keeps occupying his mind more and more, how he keeps looking forward to seeing him again, and he hates it. tries to push him away, but vox just chases harder. something in him begins to settle, and he hates it.
I personally think that Alastor loved Vox in his own way. I also don’t think it’s talked about enough that Alastor LET Vox get close, even though Alastor hates men. The fact Alastor made an exception for Vox.🥺 It’s a big deal to me 😭❤️ #Radiostatic#voxal
