Alaryel last names depend on the city you were born in. Each city has a few options for your last name and one will be picked at the time of your birth by parents. First names are chosen by the children themselves at age 15 (5 for us).

The Salidanese annual event, The Lendrichor, is the time when the veil between the living and the dead is the thinnest. Often, spirits will play jokes on the living by moving things around, creating fires, or writing on things.

In Salidan, you are considered an elder at 60. This is the youngest of all the continents, since Atheirdin is 75 or 80 (depends on the region) and Alaryel is about 66.

Three versions of English exist in Vethirion: European English, Atheirdinian English, and Salidanese English.
It originated in Europe, made its way to Atheirdin when Europeans moved there, and then Salidan adopted it due to their alliance with Europe.

During the 1218 Land War, Chamberwood Forest in Atheirdin was partially burnt due to protests. As a result of this, many species became extinct or endangered. The forest eventually healed itself after years, expanding to be close to its original size.
