^THIS is, hands down, probably the single most accurate statement which perfectly summarizes our position in this space.

"Others", lets say, can literally just show up and get within less than a month what took us a year or two.

But this is in no way supposed to be crying about fairness.

I know for a fact it's not fair and I accept it fully, because it is also a fact that you and I and most other males in this space are doing it out of conviction, not for a quick buck.

That's just flat-out wrong and semi-infuriating.
Like saying "it's women's own fault for having periods" when it's a nature they can't change, and the same goes for men.

Humans are running on 95% subconscious programming -> habits, patterns, etc. And a good chunk of that are things embedded by evolution. For thousands of years, the meaning of "weakness" and "losing" means straight-up instant death for a male, either dying on the spot or being ousted from the tribe, not getting to reproduce, etc. etc.

It's not that "oh, men only think of emotions as weakness, that's their own fault..." it's literally the programming they're running on, and that ALL of society is running on. They can't just show all their emotions and be treated and coddled like girls, there will be dire repercussions, sure not in every single case, but in about 98% people will look at that man differently than before.

This also makes for way lower standards for safety and protection. Abuse of men is laughed at, suggesting men could be taken advantage of is laughed at, etc.

But have you considered the reason why female vtubing is a billion times more successful than male vtubing and has become a big industry? It's because of men's natural programming to try and get to a female, chemicals in the brain begin to fire and basic rational thinking is altered immensely. That is a design by nature for the male biology.

So when you truly think about it, a man's nature is utilized to make him give money that he otherwise would've not given. That is literal abuse. But nobody talks about that, nobody points it out, nobody even recognizes this factor at all, the industry just keeps on going with everyone pretending "good vibes" while casually abusing the entire population of not-so-strong-willed males. Have you ever seen $35,000 donos on a male vtuber? I thought not.

Bottom line, it's not them simply "thinking emotions are weakness, silly them, if only they wouldn't think that, all their problems would be gone :)" No, it's simply that reality for men differs vastly from the reality for women. To not lose, not look bad in front of others, not show signs of hurting, not showing weakness, etc. and being humiliated by it, is embedded by nature and hardly "their own fault lmao".

Not always, but /in general/, male VTubers are NOT appreciated to be (or try to be) anywhere near the more successful female VTubers. People don't want other men to be near their "girlfriend".

Also, you never want to be seen as creepy or trying to slide into popular VTubers dm's as a male. Gossip is a thing, and once you got that reputation none of those above would ever consider being anywhere near you. The only valid answers are funny ones, but any serious answer to that post is a complete self-own.🙃
