We, @ctlstrategies, won Coastline Investments Pvt Ltd v MIRA [2021/SC-A/96] today at the Supreme Court.

A huge win for taxpayers, and will have huge implications especially on fines and interest calculations on nonpayment of BPT!

In Maldives Bay v MIRA, @SCMaldives held that the rate of GST is to be determined based on the nature of goods & services supplied, and as such, TGST is to be levied on the goods and services supplied by a tourist establishment to tourists.
