Sunday morning after ko maglinis ng sasakyan.
Lola: Parang malungkot ka.
Me: hindi po. Okay lang po ako.
(Me inside: Opo, malungkot pero naapreciate ko na tinanong at kinamusta niyo ako.)
I realized, my grandfather was the only person who made me cry by touching my heart. Harmful words were not in the dictionary but only wisdom and love for me and my well being.
Even as a grown man, it makes me cry a bit when I read our past conversations.
I miss him.
It's really powerful when people can speak kindly from the heart. The message can really be felt without friction.
Speaking with anger is just like someone barging through a door without care and leaving damage. Message is delivered but at what cost?
#WednesdayMeditation
There will always be someone somewhere waiting for you home.
No matter how far, no matter how defeated, no matter how you are right now, someone will always welcome you with a warm hug.
My pet peeve: someone who disrupts or breaks peace without thinking about the consequences of their actions.
Remember:
Easy to destroy and hard to build/repair.
People think I figured out things in my life. It is not. It's a continuous trial and error finding out what will work in the present and the future. Just because I look calm doesn't mean I don't feel pressured and not fighting my own demons.
I used to believe in a lot of things, ideas and people. But as I grew older and more experienced, the lesser those things I used to believe became.
If you bring stress more than peace to me, do me a favor and just skip me.
