Netanyahu reportedly held secret meeting with Tony Blair on Gaza governance plan

Israeli state broadcaster KAN has revealed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a secret meeting about a week ago with former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, who is reportedly working with Netanyahu and several Arab states on a plan tied to Trump’s framework for Gaza.

According to the report, Blair’s proposal would transfer certain areas of Gaza to the Palestinian Authority as a pilot program, to become permanent if deemed successful.

The initiative depends on PA reforms, and, despite previously rejecting any PA role in Gaza, Israel is said not to be opposing the idea this time.
