The Supreme Court of Canada primarily interprets laws and constitutional issues rather than imposing punishment directly. It hears appeals and references to clarify legal principles that guide lower courts, which then impose punishments where warranted.
Punishment is decided in the lower courts. The case in question was about the abuse of authority and no penalty will be issued. This process will either grant more authority or restrict authority the next time the Federal parasites try to do this.

If the decision is overturned, then the SCC will have destroyed whatever shred of credibility it had left.

If the decision is upheld, then it will have to decide on a punishment for the highest office in the land violating Canadians' fundamental rights.

If my crystal ball is correct, the Supreme Court will render a 5-4 decision against the appeal courts previous decision siding with the government. Four judges in 2 courts unanimously agreed the government's use of the Emergency Measures Act was unlawful based upon the submission of objective evidence.
Justice Wagner has already chimed in on the matter as it was taking place in February 2022. His bias and every case against a dominant political narrative headed to the Supreme Court either gets shot down or sets precedent to shift more power in the hands of those who already abuse us.

Today’s decision allows the appeal to proceed; it does not overturn those rulings.

🚨Detective Helen Grus to receive the Ron Gray Moral Courage Award

On Sat, Nov. 7, the Christian Heritage Party will present the Ron Gray Moral Courage Award to @OttawaPolice Detective Helen Grus, at Bikers Church, 155 Carillon Street, Ottawa. Doors open 6:30 pm. All welcome.

In January 2022, Detective Grus uncovered an unusual cluster of infant deaths and asked questions that pointed to powerful interests. For doing her job, she is now being prosecuted in Canada’s longest and most costly police disciplinary hearing.

Grus, a veteran investigator in the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit, was convicted of Discreditable Conduct under Ontario’s Police Services Act on March 25, 2025. The Ottawa Police stopped her investigation into the infant deaths, causing famed New York Police Detective Frank Serpico to declare a cover-up and comment...

“Incompetence or criminality will go to any length not to be exposed even at the cost of innocent infant lives.”

Incredibly, internal Tribunal Officer Chris Renwick found that Detective Grus should have asked for permission before initiating an investigation into the unusual cluster of infant deaths – due to the “political and societal ramifications” of her inquiries, and because she was investigating “public officials”.

The written decision eliminates the right and duty of Canadian police officers to conduct investigations without political interference, or to investigate public officials or politicians without prior permission from above.

If allowed to stand, the Grus decision will undermine public confidence in the independence of police investigations, and cause serving police officers to look the other way when they suspect wrongdoing by ‘public officials’ or see possible crimes that have ‘political ramifications.’

After refusing to allow the defence to present any expert witnesses, (there were five: three doctors, a lawyer, and a retired Ottawa Police Sgt. Major who literally wrote the rules on police ethics and duty) Renwick sentenced Detective Grus to a two-year demotion. Her lawyer, Bath-Sheba van den Berg, is appealing both the finding and the penalty to the Ontario Police Arbitration and Adjudication Commission.

🚨New Investigation Today: Canadians' information and police intelligence still being sent to the USA via the same hacked system.

For 25 years Canadian police and Crime Stoppers trusted U.S. companies without verification and sent Canadian police intelligence, crime tips, and the personal information of confidential sources to private companies in the United States.

Now that data is in the wild. Yet Crime Stoppers operations across Canada are still directing people to submit new tips through the same system - despite promising to pause the operation.

More than 1.5 million tips submitted to Canadian Crime Stoppers programs were exposed in a massive hack of the U.S.-based Navigate360 and P3 Global Intel corporations that managed the data.

The Canadian tips were part of a much larger breach. About 8.3 million tips in total - 93 gigabytes - were taken from Canadian Crime Stoppers, U.S. Crime Stoppers chapters, school safety tip lines such as Safe2Tell, Sandy Hook Promise and Safe2Say, U.S. military tip systems, fusion centres, and other law enforcement agencies.

While Canadians trusted Crime Stoppers and the police with their confidential information, Navigate360 and P3 Global Intel lied about encrypting and protecting the data. The companies claimed everything was encrypted at rest and that tip communications were secure.

In reality, the tips were stored and retrieved in plaintext. Unique tip IDs and passwords were kept in the clear, and basic protections such as sign-in rate limiting were missing.

It was pure fraud about a system trusted with decades of confidential intelligence. Navigate360 and P3 were professionals who knew exactly what they were doing. They marketed encryption and data security for years while holding decades of confidential intelligence in the clear.

Let’s call it what it is: fraud, deception - and should anyone be injured or killed because of it... criminal negligence.

The leaked tips cover high-profile Canadian cases, murders, drug trafficking, biker gangs (Hells Angels, Rock Machine, Outlaws, Red Scorpions), organized crime, and criminal intelligence. Nearly 49,000 tips were linked to arrests or charges. Roughly 1,000 tipsters were approved for rewards.

Canadians who came forward against dangerous criminals were promised anonymity. That promise was broken. The exposed records create real risks of retaliation, extortion, and fraud.

The failure sits with Canadian police and Crime Stoppers on two levels. First, they trusted Navigate360 and P3 Global Intel without verification. They accepted the companies’ claims of encryption and security at face value for 25 years and never confirmed the data was actually protected. Second, they sent Canadian criminal intelligence and the personal information of confidential sources to a private American company in a foreign country.

The data left Canada and sat on U.S. servers.

Now that data is out. The people who trusted the system most - those who reported gangs, traffickers, and organized crime - are the ones most exposed.

Toronto Crime Stoppers announced it has paused its program and told the public not to send tips, while Toronto Police removed its public links to the program.

Yet the online intake remains fully operational and promoted. Crime Stoppers websites across Canada, including the Ontario Association of Crime Stoppers and Toronto Crime Stoppers, still direct people to the P3 platform and describe it as secure. Neither site mentions the data breach or that tip information continues to be sent to a private company in the United States.

On October 22, 2026 this journalist submitted an online tip through the Ontario Crime Stoppers website, routed to Toronto Crime Stoppers via the P3 portal. The system returned a confirmation, file number, and password. The tip contained identifying information and a detailed fraud complaint – which ended up at the P3 system in the USA.
